MARIETTA - Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident that closed Ohio 7 for half an hour this morning.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Eric Knowlton said a red minivan, traveling north on Ohio 7, carrying as many as five people, attempted to turn left onto Products Lane when it collided with a southbound black Acadia around 10:05 a.m. The Acadia was carrying three people including the driver, two of whom were juveniles.
Knowlton said a passenger was ejected from the minivan and all passengers from both vehicles were taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital.
