Marietta authorities report fatal crash on Ohio 676

WATERFORD -- The Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash that occurred Friday around 2:20 a.m. on Ohio 676 near Mile Post 6 in Palmer Township.
The crash involved a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Timothee L. Singer, 30, last known address of Heath, Ohio. Investigation determined Singer was eastbound on Ohio 676 when the vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
The passenger, Nicole Kelley, 31, of Parkersburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. No further information was released on Singer.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash. The occupants were not wearing their seatbelts at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
Responding agencies were Ohio State Highway Patrol, Watertown Township Volunteer Fire Department, Beverly EMS and Secure Towing.
