PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled May 15 in Wood County Magistrate Court:
* James Michael Cottrell, 1308 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to maintaining a vehicle for keeping of controlled substances and was fined $170.25 and sentenced to two years in jail, which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic dismissed.
* Thomas Eugene Stevens III, 400 16th St., Apt. 9, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Kenneth A. Ankrom Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault, was fined $195.25 and was sentenced to one year in jail, which was suspended for six months unsupervised probation. He had charges of a misdemeanor violation of a protective order and possessing a controlled substance without a prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dustin Dewayne Metz, 2522 10th Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of third-offense shoplifting.
* Mark Edward Dye, 4 Dye Lane, Mineral Wells, had charges of having no registration and no proof of insurance dismissed with no objection from the state.
* Kenton Ryan Barker, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts of being a person prohibited from possessing firearms. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Crystal Marie Tripi, 709 44th St., Vienna, had a charge of truancy dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Herbert Allen Stewart Jr., 2409 Neal St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on three counts of forgery and uttering. The case was sent to Circuit Court.
* Tonya Gail White, 910 Core Road, Apt. 106, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of possession with intent. The case was sent to Circuit Court.
* Jennie Lou Piersol, 3206 Custer St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a license revoked for DUI and driving a vehicle while impaired at less than 0.15 and was fined $625.50. She was sentenced to 30 days and 40 days, respectively in jail to run concurrently. A charge of disregarding traffic signs was dismissed.
* Austin Cole Rizer, 11337 Southern Highway, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle while impaired at less than 0.15, was fined $355.25 and was sentenced to six hours in jail, which was ruled as time served.
* Ronald Bruce Sheridan, 1600 Camden Ave., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense shoplifting and possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription and was fined $415.50. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Sheetz.
* Lonnie Eugene Potts, 93 Alfred Road, Davisville, had a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order dismissed without prejudice, per the victim's request.
* Shayne Douglas Fletcher, 1607 Beaver St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and obstruction and was fined $405.50.
* Cody Allan Lancaster, 3405 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to attempting to commit an offense and failing, was fined $180.25 and was sentenced to 45 days of home confinement. A charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Charles Francis Hardin, 1203 16th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, was fined $170.25 and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation, with a credit of one day for time served. A charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Wayne Leroy Knepper Jr., 569 Fifth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and domestic battery, was fined $400.50 and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation with a credit of five days served.
* Michael Anthony Pedro, c/o 736 Willard Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and was fined $180.25. Charges of violating a protective order and having no insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Trenton Michael Cremeans, Belpre, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue the case.
* Lacie Breanne Arden Sharpe, 9784 Slate Creek Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, was fined $170.25 and was sentenced to five days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jamil Adrian Cabral, Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription dismissed.
* Amber C. Booker, 1137 Stadium Drive, Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator's license and driving a vehicle without an inspection sticker and was fined $350.50.
* Jocey Aleah Cato, 4154 Williamstown Pike, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to failure to yield and was fined $175.25.
* John Anthony Iammarino, 1908 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and was fined $25.
* Joseph Alex Banta, 502 Victoria Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and was fined $25.
* Daniel Armando Banales, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of making terroristic threats and held on $50,000 bond.
* Karen Marie Reynolds, 1412 Beaver St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.
* Andy William Mesecher, 528 Maple Drive, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of speeding in a school zone (34 mph in a 15 mph zone) and released on $500 bond.
* Trevor Paul Hutchinson, 40 Wildwood Drive, Apt. 106, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having expired registration, accident involving damage and vehicle improperly entering highway or intersection and released on $1,500 bond.
* Seth Eugene Harris, 3000 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Cortney Renee Thomas, 1006 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Ricky Lee Salyers, 1329 1/2 25th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of trespassing and a capias warrant for shoplifting and released on $2,000 bond.
* Hannah Nicole Brannon, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.
* Alicia Dawn Brannon, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.
* Austin Clay Kent, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.
