PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 6:

* Christopher Todd Smith, 2906 29th St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $2,500 bond.

* James Rusty Earl Wallace, no address given, was arraigned for being a fugitive from justice from Washington County was arraigned on a charge of contempt for failure to appear in court. He is being held on no bond.

* Roger Darrell Fink, 305 Old Grove Road, Beckley, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (marijuana) and held on $10,000 bond.

* Chad Michael Powers, 139 Mountain View Lane, Beverly, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault, obstruction and two counts of assault on an officer and released on $3,500 bond.

* Lindsey Nicole Morrison, 141 Lubeck Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and interfering with emergency communications and released on $2,000 bond.

* Ricky Lee Cline, 2926 Meadville Road, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and held on $1,500 bond.

* Jeffrey Eugene Casto, 512 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Brian Jason Snyder, 8909 Slate Creek Road, Rockport, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a domestic violence order and released on $1,000 bond.

* Thomas Eugene Stevens III, 400 16th St. Apt. 8, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (meth) and held on $15,000 bond.

* Rachael Nicole Wilson, 506 34th St. Apt. 3, Vienna, was arraigned on two capias warrants for shoplifting and a charge of third-offense shoplifting. She was held on no bond for the warrants and $5,000 bond for the shoplifting charge.

* Mathis Eugene Johnson, 2909 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and held on $40,000 bond.

* Victor Lee Carpenter Sr., 2261 Rowles Run Road, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing with reckless indifference and held on $25,000 bond.

* Justin Gregory Williams, 407 Locust Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.

* Kevin Matthew Hess, 20925 State Route 676, Marietta, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of manufacturer/deliver/possess with intent to manufacturer/deliver (Schedule I or II Narcotic). The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Chad Cecil Albright, 511 1/2 54th St., Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of manufacturer/deliver/possess with intent to manufacturer/deliver (Schedule I or II Narcotic) and 21 counts of being a person prohibited possessing firearms (felony). The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Joseph Donald Norris, 6 Maplewood Drive, Williamstown pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended or revoked and fined $270.25.

* Jonathan Brandon Burdette, 1716 Pansy Drive, Charleston, pleaded no contest to following too closely considering speed, traffic and road conditions and fined $180.25.

* Erika L. Becker, 63 Short Road, St. Marys, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $175.25. A charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was provided.

* Jesse Wayne Shingleton, 383 Paddock Green Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to burning during restricted hours and fined $270.25. He was ordered to pay a $200 Civil Penalty to the Division of Forestry.

* Phillip Malek Ealy, 118 Edgewood Drive, Charleston, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without registration, driving on a suspended license and fined $445.50.

PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 7-9:

* Billy Jake Burnside, 1961 Sugar Camp Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to second-offense domestic battery, fined $170.25 and placed on home confinement for six months. He also had to seek counseling. He had two counts of third-offense domestic battery dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Dana Nigel Harrison, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Washington County on a charge of third-offense domestic violence. He was held on no bond.

* Candice Dawn Knapp, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Washington County, Ohio on a charge of contempt for failure to appear. She was held on no bond.

* Monica Lea Hicks, 20 Coolidge St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and two counts of inhaling a intoxicating compound and released on $1,500 bond.

* Carter Michael Reynolds, 4502 Ninth Ave. Vienna, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and brandishing a deadly weapon and released on $3,000 bond.

* Herbert Hoover Gilbert III, 1050 Market St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,500 bond.

* John Nicholas Banks, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of worthless check, shoplifting, public intoxication and five counts of possession of a controlled substance and held on $2,000 bond and no bond on separate charges.

* James Lee Hall, 1042 24th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no registration and five counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $5,000 bond.

* Tyanna Nichole Martin, 904 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, trespassing and obstruction and released on $1,500 bond.

* Verl Lakwynn Morehouse, 1556 Sugar Camp Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on three counts of indecent exposure and released on $1,000 bond.

* Melissa Dawn Gregg, 3528 1/2 Roseland Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of embezzlement and truancy and released on $2,500 bond.

* Joshua S. Gibson, 49 Phoenix St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny, receiving/transferring stolen property and conspiracy and released on $15,000 bond.

* Aaron Michael Blackston, 1215 1/2 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and presentation of a firearm during a felony and held on $50,000 bond.

* Kelsey Evonne Nuzum, 1329 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) with intent to deliver and held on $50,000 bond.

* Jeremiah Jacob Lyons, homeless, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on bond.

* Kaitlyn Brianne Bailey, 1101 14th St. Apt. 9, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (Meth) with intent to deliver and released on $75,000 bond.

* Austin Clayton Smith, 173 Andys Acres Lane, Waverly, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on $2,500 bond.

* Timothy Scott Bailey, 1716 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and released on $5,000 bond.

* Arrion A. Smith, 405A 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstructing an officer, interfering with an officer and fleeing and eluding and held on $1,000 bond.

* Stephen Charles Bonson, 635 1/2 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a revoked license for DUI, expired registration, no MVI sticker and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Christopher Todd Sams, 4104 Camden Ave., Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property, trespassing (defying an order to leave) and released on $1,000 bond.

* Ralph Edward Mahoney, 2502 Brooklyn Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $1,500 bond.

* Thomas Brian Moore, 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in a placard structure and released on $500 bond.

* Cecil R. Lawson Jr., 2306 Clement Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operators license and fined $180.25.

* Christian Michael Kerns, 400 Park Ave., Williamstown, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $175.25.

* Mildred M. Dutton, 229 South Wells St., Sistersville, pleaded guilty to speeding in a work zone and fined $190.25.

* Michelle Renee Allman, 38 Pirate Cove Lane, Belleville, pleaded no contest to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $175.25. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed.

* Daniel Lee Smith, 861 Slate Run Road, Belleville, pleaded no contest to having an open dump and fined $270.25.
