Parkersburg woman charged with attempted murder, malicious assault

PARKERSBURG — A Parkersburg woman was arraigned and held in jail, accused of shooting someone outside her home.
Crystle LeAnn Phillips, 40, 1073 Kites Run Road, Walker, was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court on charges of attempted murder and malicious assault.
On Thursday, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department responded to 90 Woodberry Lane on a report of a male subject being shot.
The victim, J.D. Lambert, said his ex-girlfiend, Phillips, shot him at their residence at 1073 Kites Run Road, Walker, according to the criminal complaint written by Deputy Sheriff Sgt. A.C. Shriver.
Deputies made contact with Phillips in the driveway.
It was determined the victim was sitting in his vehicle in the driveway when he was shot, according to the criminal complaint. Lambert was hit in the left shoulder with a 9 mm from a Springfield XP pistol. He fled to the Go-Mart at 90 Woodberry Lane where he was met by EMS units to treat his injury, according to the report.
Phillips was arrested and sent to the Wood County Holding Center to be processed.
She was held on $400,000 bond.
Phillips also was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Washington County where she was charged with falsely using another person’s information. She is being held.
