PARKERSBURG -- A Parkersburg man died after being shot early Wednesday morning.
Kevin Mason, 27, was found outside in the 1000 block of Lynn Street when Parkersburg Police responded around 3:22 a.m. to a reported shooting, Lt. R.L. Koher said.
He was taken to WVU Medicine Camden Clark where "he passed away due to the injuries," Koher said.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Parkersburg Police released a press release Wednesday evening stating detectives have located all parties believed to be involved in the incident and they have cooperated with the investigation.
At this time this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the community related to this incident, the release said. No charges have been filed at this time and detectives are continuing to gather evidence and conduct their investigation.
