PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Grand Jury returned indictments against 22 people on a variety of charges Wednesday.

Indictments are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Three people were indicted as co-defendants on a variety of drug charges from January 2022: Kamron Kevair Black, 27, at North Central Regional Jail; Raymond Lawrence Chapman, 40, 151 Dickens Drive Apt. 23, Mineral Wells; and Nicole Jane Dotson, 35. 6488 Old Saint Marys Pike, Parkersburg.

Black was indicted on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer, two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and obstructing an officer.

Chapman was indicted on two counts of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second or subsequent offense), two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (second or subsequent offense), possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances and conspiracy to commit maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.

Dotson was indicted on two counts of conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances and conspiracy to commit maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.

Other indictments included:

* Chase Andrew Boggs, 38, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of first-degree arson, second-degree arson, third-degree arson and destruction of property from September 2021.

* Mia Sinead Boggs, 31, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of burglary and obstructing an officer from December 2021.

* Travis Lloyd Cunningham, 37, North Central Regional Jail, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, receiving or transferring stolen goods, conspiracy to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor from December 2019.

* Mary Elizabeth Curran, 36, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, two counts of transporting a controlled substance onto the grounds of a jail and conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in April 2021.

* Toni Johnson, 57, 909 13th St., Parkersburg, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in April 2021.

* Kevin D. Emerick, 55, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment with a firearm and two counts of persons prohibited from possession a firearm from January 2022.

* Jamey J. Friend, 44, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of grand larceny and two counts of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle from July and August 2021.

* David A. Full, 57, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of failure to register from May through June 2021.

* Marcus Jackson McCormick, 43, and Shelley Claire McCormick, 30, both of North Central Regional Jail, were each indicted on charges of grand larceny, two counts of injuring or tampering with a vehicle, two counts of destruction of property, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, two counts of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor and attempted grand larceny from January 2021.

* Joshua Joseph McCune, 37, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, petit larceny and destruction of property from December 2021.

* Mario Morales-Mendez, 36, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of burglary, attempted petit larceny and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver from December 2021

* Falcon Owens, 27, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of child neglect creating risk of serious bodily injury and obstructing an officer from October 2021.

* Michael Adam Roe, 35, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of making terroristic threats and obstructing an officer from January 2022.

* Ronald Paul Roman Jr., 57, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of malicious assault and domestic battery from January 2022.

* Tecaro Preaun Saunders, 40, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of child neglect resulting in bodily injury, child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, driving under the influence of alcohol causing bodily injury, driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without required security and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage from January 2022.

* Brett Eric Shank, 53, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference and two counts of obstructing an officer from December 2021.

* Jennie Iona Tranter, 42, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a third-offense shoplifting charge from May 2021.

* Matthew Grant White, 38, North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of attempted breaking and entering and/or attempted entering without breaking, two counts of assault and destruction of property from October 2021.
