PARKERSBURG -- The following cases were held recently in Wood County Circuit Court:
* Crystal Nichole Ventimiglia, 35, 47 Elm St., Davisville, pleaded guilty before Judge Jason Wharton to conspiracy to commit a felony and second-offense shoplifting. Motions were made for alternative sentencing. Sentencing is set for 11 a.m. June 14.
* Nathaniel Ryan Reynolds, 22, 1102 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Wharton to two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm. Motions were made for alternative sentencing and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is set for 9:30 a.m. March 28.
* Luke D. McMullen, 21, 519 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Judge Robert Waters to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl). A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. A motion was made for home confinement and a requirement to participate in Drug Court. Sentencing is set 1 p.m. March 3.
* Timothy C. Nay, 52, 9105 St. Rt. 555, Vincent, pleaded guilty before Waters on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm while being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm. Sentencing is set for 10:15 a.m. April 11.
* Rex Virgil Nolan, 31, North Central Regional Jail, pleaded guilty before Judge JD Beane to possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, heroin. He was sentenced to one to 15 years in prison with a credit of 164 days credit for time served. That sentence is suspended and Nolan is placed on three years of probation. He was ordered to pay $277 in fines and court costs as well as a $5 monthly probation fee.
* James M. Overton, 47, 615 Jameston St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Beane to charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was sentenced to one to 15 years in prison with 152 days credit for time served and 69 days credit for time served on home confinement. That sentence was suspended and he was placed on seven years probation.
* Matthew Edward Deem, 40, 1410 Hocking Road, Belpre, had trial set before Beane on March 22 for charges of fraudulent scheme and conspiracy to commit fraudulent scheme. A status hearing is set for 9 a.m. March 17.
* Peggy S. Atkinson-Boyles, 37, 2515 Lenore St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Beane to charges of conspiracy to possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, fentanyl. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is set for 9:45 a.m. April 7.
* Randell Lee Kemp, 37, North Central Regional Jail, pleaded guilty before Beane to entering without breaking. Sentencing is being delayed while he receives treatment.
* David Rohrbough, 46, 4602 Powell St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Waters to breaking and entering. He had been accepted into a drug treatment program. He did not appear for a hearing and his attorney said he has not been in contact with him. A warrant was issued and his bond revoked.
* Dale E. Massey, 44, 800 Seventh St., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Waters to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was sentenced to prison for two to 10 years with a credit of 95 days for time served. Motions for alternative sentencing were denied. Court recommends he participates in a Residential Substance Abuse Treatment while in prison.
* Thomas Lane Smith, 41, 807 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty before Waters to four counts of fraudulent use of an access device. He was sentenced to five years in prison with a credit of 162 days for time served for each of three of the charges which will run concurrently and five years in prison for the remaining charge to run consecutively with the others. Court recommends he participates in a Residential Substance Abuse Treatment while in prison. He was ordered to pay $313.18 in restitution. Motions for alternative sentencing were denied.
* Tera Sue Lively, 36, 300 Ivy St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and persons prohibited from possessing a firearm. She did not appear for a hearing before Wharton. A warrant was issued and her bond was revoked.
* Marquan Denzel Woods Sr., 28, Dawn Light Ave., Columbus, were indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit the possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, being a prohibited person with a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. He did not appear for a hearing before Wharton. A warrant was issued and his bond was revoked.
* Benjamin Williams, 27, Riley Heights, Buckhannon, W.Va., pleaded guilty before Waters to forgery and uttering. He was sentenced to one to 10 years in prison with a credit of 294 days for time served and one to 10 years in prison to run consecutively but concurrent to another charge in Harrison County. He was ordered to pay $166.67 to Central Credit Union and $376.36 One Community Federal Credit Union. Motions for alternative sentencing were denied. He has to pay costs and restitution within one year of his release.
