Fire ravages Harrisville church

Christ Our Hope Catholic Church caught on fire early Saturday. Harrisville, Ellenboro, Pennsboro and Greenwood volunteer fire departments responded, along with Ritchie County OES, Ritchie County Ambulance Authority and the W.Va. State Fire Marshal’s Office. Cairo and West Union volunteer fire departments were on standby. According to the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department, the church is very likely a total loss.
