Sexual assault, a Wood BOE update, Parkersburg City Council discussions and officials’ input for an oil leak set for tomorrow’s edition
Sexual assault, the Wood County Schools’ Superintendent’s school year goals, a potential pay increase for police officers and firefighters and the oil leak on Veto Lake are some of the topics to be covered by staff reporters Evan Bevins, Candice Black and James Dobbs in tomorrow’s edition.
A Spencer man was arrested this week after sending graphic sexual text messages to a 15-year-old boy.
At this evening’s Wood County Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Will Hosaflook will brief board members on his goals for 2021-2022 school year.
Parkersburg City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Items on the agenda include an ordinance granting an additional 50 cents an hour in pay to police and firefighters after they have been with the city for 10, 15 and 20 years and a resolution to accept bids for the Point Park Marketplace building.
