Spencer City Hall closed due to COVID-19 outbreak
SPENCER — Spencer City Hall will be temporarily closed to the public as a COVID-19 outbreak affected city employees.
This week’s city council meeting was canceled and city employees are in quarantine, according to the City of Spencer Facebook page.
Spencer residents are to use the dropbox on the wall to the left of the DMV entrance for bill pay and someone will be checking phone messages in the water department.
“We will keep you posted as we navigate this situation and let you know to what extent we are able to open to the public. Everyone in the mayor’s office can still be contacted by phone or email. Thank you for your patients and please stay safe,” the post said.
