LOGAN, Ohio -- Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers in Hocking County are investigating a motorcycle accident Tuesday on Ohio 664.
The accident happened near milepost 13 where a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Jonathan Purdy, 30, of Lancaster went off the right side of the road and overturned, the patrol said. Purdy, driving south, sustained incapacitating injuries and was flown to OSU Wexner Medical Center.
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers were assisted by the Logan Fire Department, Hocking County EMS and the Hocking County Sheriff's Office. The patrol also reminded motorcyclists to wear a helmet.
