Schools affected by storm

Wood County Schools will be closed Thursday due to snow. There will be no remote instruction. Only 261-day contract employees will report to work.

Belpre City Schools are closed.

Marietta City Schools are on remote learning today.

Pleasants County Schools will be closed. Students will participate in remote learning.

Wirt County Schools will be on remote learning and 240/261 employees will report on a three-hour delay.

Ritchie County Schools are closed and students will remain on distance learning.

Doddridge County Schools will be closed. This will be a Non-Traditional Learning Day. Staff is under Code C.

Calhoun County Schools will be on remote learning. Classes will begin at regularly scheduled times. Students should login on TEAMS for instruction and assignments and follow their normal daily schedule.

All Tyler County Schools are closed. Students need to work on packets or work provided on the iPad by teachers. Contact the student’s teacher if there are questions.

Jackson County Schools will be closed. No remote learning will be provided. Employees will operate on Code A.

Fort Frye Local Schools will be closed. This is a remote learning day for all students. Assignments or class information will be released to students no later than 8 a.m. in Google Classroom. Students may have Google Live classroom sessions so they should check their Google Classroom by 8 a.m. to confirm student assignments and activities.

Wolf Creek Local Schools will be closed. Today will be a remote learning day.

Frontier Local Schools will be closed. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Feb. 25.
