GALLIPOLIS -- One person was killed in an accident Wednesday on Ohio 7 in Gallia County, the Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Dustin R. Fooce, 32, Crown City, a passenger in a car driven by Jason A. Halfhill, 41, also of Crown City, was killed in the two-vehicle accident that occurred around 1:40 p.m. near milepost 14, the patrol said.
The driver of the second vehicle, a pickup truck, James N. Craft, 34, Gallipolis, and a 10-year-old passenger were uninjured, the patrol said.
Halfhill received incapacitating injuries and was taken to Cabell-Huntington Hospital while another passenger in his vehicle, a 1-year-old girl, received non-incapacitating injuries, the patrol said.
The road was closed for about three hours.
Additional details were unavailable. The accident remains under investigation, the patrol said.
