Wood County grand jury issues 39 indictments
PARKERSBURG — Additional details were offered Thursday on charges against two men indicted for murder this week by the Wood County grand jury.
Dominick McClung, 17, in custody at the Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Center in Boone County, was indicted on two counts of murder, among other charges, in the September killing of Parkersburg resident Karen Yeager. One of the charges is felony murder, which alleges Yeager was killed during the commission of the robbery in which McClung is also charged, Prosecutor Pat Lefebure said.
The same is true of Michael Trevor Johns, 32, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County, who was indicted on two counts of murder in the January death of Christopher Ryan Valkos after a robbery.
Each man can only be convicted on either the murder or felony murder charge, but not both, Lefebure said.
Lefebure said he could not provide additional information about charges of accessory after the fact to murder against Tyler Jenkins, 23, 808 Jackson Ave., Parkersburg, and Eric Dillon, 29, in custody at the Regional Jail, except to say they are accused of hiding or disposing of evidence in Yeager’s murder.

Police said the suspects then pulled the injured man into the living room area and stole items from his pockets.
The other suspects have not been identified, Lefebure said.
