PARKERSBURG -- WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has announced new visitation guidelines.
Inpatient visiting hours are noon to 7 p.m. Inpatients may have one visitor per day. Exceptions may apply case-by-case
Individuals who are ill are not permitted to accompany patients or enter. Visitors must be screened and masked at all times.
* Visitors should arrive wearing a mask and continue to wear one while in the facility
* Visitors will be asked screening questions upon arrival
* Visitors must obtain, wear and return the specific visitor badge upon entering and exiting the building
* Physical distancing requirements are to be maintained
* No visitation for COVID-19 positive patients unless specific case exceptions apply
* Inpatient visitors must remain in patient room and may not travel to common areas
* Visitors accompanying patients in Outpatient Clinics and Outpatient Procedural areas must stay in room or designated waiting area or may be asked to wait in vehicle to maintain distancing parameters
* Clinical staff may request visitor not to be present in areas with limited space
* Local epidemiologic and supply factors can override these guidelines at anytime
Adult Inpatient Visitation
* One visitor per day, noon-7 p.m.
* One visitor is permitted for 30 minutes at time of admission.
* One visitor may be permitted at time of discharge or receive instructions.
* Visitors must obtain, wear and return the specific visitor badge, upon entering and exiting the building, only one pass per patient day.
* Exception guidelines will remain in place at other times.
Adult Outpatient Diagnostics
* No visitors to accompany patients except per exception guidelines.
Adult Outpatient Procedural (Same Day Care/Cath Lab):
* One visitor may accompany patients for outpatient procedures.
Obstetrics Mom and Baby:
* Visitation permitted: One adult visitor will be allowed daily from noon to 7 p.m. in addition to the support person.
* Support person may stay overnight.
Pediatric Inpatient
* Two approved visitors per day at bedside.
Outpatient Clinics and Physicians Offices
* One visitor is permitted with each patient visit.
Emergency Department
* One visitor will be allowed per patient, two visitors if a pediatric patient.
* No visitors under the age of 18 will be permitted.
* Exceptions may be made in special circumstances.
* All visitors will be required to stay in the patient rooms.
General
