LUBECK — Lubeck Elementary School held a student parade Wednesday, thanking educators for their efforts during the COVID-19 shutdown.

Teachers lined up along the school as families drove by, many students holding up handmade signs thanking teachers. Schools throughout the area have been holding similar events as a way to remain in contact with students during the shutdown which forced schools to close and classes to be moved online.
