Man hospitalized in three-car crash
ATHENS — An Athens County man remains in a Columbus hospital following an accident on U.S. 50 in Athens.
Bradley Dixon, 20, Albany, was listed in critical condition at Grant Medical Center, a spokesman said.
Dixon, flown by medical helicopter to the medical center, was injured in a three-car accident Tuesday afternoon on Route 50 near milepost 25, according to the Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Dixon was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima west on Route 50 that went left of center and struck an oncoming car driven by Joel Singree, 54, of Beverly and another vehicle driven by Shane Wall, 42, of Marietta, the patrol said.
Singree, Ward and a passenger received non-life threatening injuries, the patrol said.
