Wood County grand jury issues 78 indictments
PARKERSBURG — Two brothers arrested in separate incidents in October were among 78 individuals indicted by the January 2017 grand jury.
According to police reports from October, Casey Douglas Saunders, 25, and Marshall Leroy Saunders, 28, both of Parkersburg, were arrested at 1508 Crescent St. while police were investigating a complaint that Marshall Leroy Saunders stabbed an individual and Casey Douglas Saunders was arrested on an outstanding parole violation.
Casey Douglas Saunders was also charged with second-offense unlawful taking of a vehicle. Police said he was placed in a marked cruiser at that time, was handcuffed and placed in a seat belt; he was able to remove his seat belt and get his handcuffed hands in front of him, got into the driver’s seat and drove the cruiser away, officials said.
Marshall Leroy Saunders was indicted on charges of malicious assault, first-degree robbery, fleeing from an officer with reckless disregard, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and fleeing from an officer.
Casey Douglas Saunders was indicted on charges of escape and second-offense unlawful taking of a vehicle.
Charged with malicious assault by the grand jury was Eddie Allen Gloeckner, 25, 1227 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, currently in custody at the North Central Regional Jail.
Gloeckner was indicted in connection with the Oct. 5, 2016, malicious wounding of David Michael Taylor, who drove himself to Camden Clark Medical Center while profusely bleeding from the face and was later transferred to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Police said Gloeckner shot Taylor in the face. Parkersburg police recovered the gun at 15th Street.
A former Parkersburg South High School English teacher was also among those indicted Thursday. Jacob Lee Dorton, 34, 368 Suzanne St., Washington, W.Va., was indicted on six counts of burglary, three counts of unlawful entry and two counts of petit larceny. According to court records, Dorton allegedly took prescription medications from three residences in the Belleville and Washington, W.Va., areas.
Others indicted Thursday were:
* Brian Allman, 31, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, and Misty Allman, 24, 816 1/2 33rd St., Parkersburg, were indicted as co-defendants. He was indicted on six counts each of breaking and entering and entering without breaking, two counts each of grand larceny, petit larceny and burglary and one count each of attempted burglary and unlawful entry. She was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, entering without breaking and grand larceny.
* Donald Ray Ankrom Jr., 50, 958 Joshua Fork Road, Rockport, was indicted on a charge of third-offense DUI.
* Kenneth Michael Bailey, 34, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on three counts of uttering.
* Yassir Rashaan Baskerville, 31, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, Racheal Hinzman, 31, and Russell Hinzman, 32, both of 705 Neal St., Parkersburg, were named as co-defendants. Baskerville was indicted on three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance and two counts each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Racheal Hinzman was indicted on two counts each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance and one count of maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances. Russell Hinzman was indicted on a charge of maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.
* Jerome Blackwell, 37, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, and Shanea M. Pryor, 35, 428 1/2 12th St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, were named as co-defendants. Blackwell was indicted on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substance. Pryor was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.
* Matthew G. Blankenship, 35, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Timothy John Bookman, 35, 90 Stanley St., Newport, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of third-offense DUI.
* James A. Burke, 34, 2400 Oak St., Apt. A, Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Charles Eugene Callahan, 47, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of retaliation against a public official and one count of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle.
* Richard A. Carter, 27, 2612 10th Ave., Apt. B, Parkersburg, was indicted on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
* Billie Raye Cross, 33, 1015 E. 12th St., Parkersburg, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
* Issac T. Cunningham, 18, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
* Stephen D. Cutlip, 18, 1904 Steven St., Parkersburg, was indicted on five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances.
* Ashley Davis, 29, 1341 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
* Rudy O. Davis, 41, 5221 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Brandon Hardy, 35, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, were named as co-defendants and charged with two counts each of second-offense possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* William J. Dawson, 33, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, unlawful entry and two counts of third-offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI.
* Ethan Ty Donahue, 25, 5250 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was indicted on two counts of fraudulent use of an access device, embezzlement and grand larceny by embezzlement.
* Glennell M. Dorsett, 36, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Tyler E. Drake, 21, and Morgan McDermitt, 21, both of 2402 11th Ave., Apt. 2, Vienna, was named as co-defendants. Drake was charged with six counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count each of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of controlled substances. McDermitt was indicted on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count each of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of controlled substances.
* Mageed Dunor, 21, and Eric Clark, 26, both in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, and Dimentri Evans, 33, 144 E. Fifth Ave., Columbus, and Christina Shingleton, 36, 1201 19th St., Apt. 1, Vienna, were named as co-defendants. All four were charged with conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance. Dunor was also charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Clark was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance. Evans and Shingleton were also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Lacey Easton, 21, 124 Bethel Chapel Road, MacFarlan, W.Va., was indicted on charges of embezzlement and grand larceny by embezzlement.
* David Martinez Epperson, 43, 1111 27th St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, entering without breaking and grand larceny.
* Clayton A. Fleak, 22, 611 Reed St., Parkersburg, was indicted on five counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and maintaining a dwelling for the keeping of controlled substances.
* Wendlynn Marie Fox, 38, 302 Tanner Lane, Walker, was indicted on two counts of third-offense DUI.
* Dustin Blake Franklin, 23, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, Korey Mayhugh, 26, 270 Harris Ave., Harrisville, and Jared Riel, 27, 1864 Dutchman Road, MacFarlan, W.Va., were named as co-defendants. They were all charged with possession of substances to be used as precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Franklin was also charged with four counts of battery and one count each of brandishing, wanton endangerment with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
* James Edward Frick, 47, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of failure to provide notice of registration changes.
* James Franklin Guinn Jr., 56, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of attempt to disarm a corrections officer and escape.
* Angela Mae Hanscome, 39, 1125 19th St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of malicious assault and two counts of domestic battery.
* William Hebden Jr, 37, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, and Bradley Wayne Oxendine, 39, 247 First Ave., Baltimore, Md., were indicted as co-defendants on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
* Ira Heywood, 56, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance.
* Howard Stanley Johnson, 84, 1053 Hoagland Run Road, Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of wanton endangerment involving a firearm.
* Melissa Marie McCartney, 33, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of third-offense shoplifting.
* Robert Lee McCune, 62, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on three counts each of second-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault and two counts of abuse by a custodian.
* Mario L. McDonald, 28, 1338 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was indicted on two counts of second-offense delivery of a controlled substance.
* Desiree Jane Malone, also known as Desiree Jane Hickel, 26, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of person prohibited from possessing firearms and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Keejuan D. Mayes, 25, and Randall Green, 38, both in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, and Coy Goff, 27, unknown, were indicted as co-defendants. Mayes was indicted on charges of three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance. Green was indicted on two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance, and one count each of breaking and entering and petit larceny. Goff was indicted on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.
* Michael Shane Miller, 41, 2602 11th Ave., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering, entering without breaking and destruction of property.
* Devonic James Mitchell, 23, 1910 Liberty St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of wanton endangerment with a firearm, fleeing from an officer while DUI and fleeing from an officer with reckless indifference.
* Jarrod Vincent Moore, 27, 50 13th St., Apt. 103, Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of wanton endangerment with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
* Izaak Noah Morris, 19, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering an automobile, grand larceny, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
* Daniel David Morrison, 29, 602 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of fraudulent use of an access device, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, third-offense driving while under the influence of controlled substances of drugs and third-offense driving while license revoked or suspended for DUI.
* Keane Blake Murillo, 19, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on four counts of third-degree sexual assault.
* Jason Richard Mylar, 27, 1312 Oak St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of second-degree robbery and second-degree attempted robbery.
* Aaron Nichols, 31, and Danielle Turpin, 28, both of 4418 17th Ave., Parkersburg, were indicted on two counts of burglary and one count each of conspiracy to commit burglary and grand larceny.
* Nickia Denise Nutter, 38, 685 Milton St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of grand larceny and four counts of fraudulent use of an access device.
* Stephen Donald Oldham, 45, 705 31st St., Parkersburg, was indicted on seven counts of breaking and entering an automobile, eight counts of petit larceny, two counts of attempted burglary and one count each of entering without breaking an automobile, grand larceny, attempted unlawful entry and destruction of property.
* Stefan Richard Pappas, 44, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts of retaliation against public officer and employees and threat of terroristic act.
* Philip John Petit, 42, address unknown, was indicted on three counts of failure to provide notice of registration changes.
* Michael Shane Ratliff, 33, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on two counts each of burglary and battery and one count of malicious assault.
* Shallamar Natice Robinson, 25, 2962 Nathaniel Blvd., Apt. B, Columbus, and Jayla Barnes, 22, 3120 Randolph St., N.W., Warren, Ohio, were indicted as co-defendants. Robinson was indicted on four counts of fraudulent use of an access device and Barnes was indicted on nine counts of fraudulent use of an access device.
* John Michael Sadler Jr., 27, 3204 25th St., Parkersburg, was indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and person prohibited from possessing firearms.
* Carl Wayne Smith, 30, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of grand larceny and receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle.
* Heidi A. Talafhah, 24, 3411 Hemlock Ave., Apt. 4, Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver.
* Jon Misha Thomas, 27, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on a grand larceny charge.
* Christopher Paul Ward, 49, 44 S. Park Villa, Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of embezzlement and grand larceny by embezzlement.
* Andrew William Watson, 47, 4685 Beach St., Glouster, was indicted on charges of fleeing from an officer while under the influence of alcohol, fleeing from an officer with reckless disregard and two counts of fleeing from an officer causing bodily injury to another.
* JaBrida Williams, 29, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was indicted on charges of fraudulent scheme and three counts of uttering.
* Silas Ira Willis, 29, 1508 Crescent St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and receiving stolen property.
