Wood County resident among latest reported COVID deaths
From Staff Reports CHARLESTON — Another 24 people have died from COVID-19 in West Virginia, including one confirmed from Wood County. The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported the 24 deaths Tuesday since its last update on Monday along with 714 new cases of the virus which were reported in the 24-hour period between Monday and Tuesday mornings.
