PARKERSBURG - The Worthington Women's Golf Association announced winners for the July weekly games during the August business meeting.
July 18-hole play winners were Carol Geletko, Katie Parsons, Carol Ramsey, Jeanne Chalfant, Debbie Full, Mary Ingram, Nancy Meredith, Mary Lopez, Linda Lucky, and Sue Mitchell.
The July winners from the nine-hole players were Gaye Fife, Mary Ellen Eddy, Susan Shawver, Vicki Squires, Sandy Perrine, Patti Golden, Jan Kiger, Barb Payne, Sue Ellen Johnson, Marsha Jackson, Lois Boise and Libby Rogers.
Lori Butler, WWGA Chairwoman, said regular season league play would conclude Aug. 25, with the annual league scramble scheduled for Sept. 1. The tournament to determine the WWGA 2026 league champion will be played Sept. 8 and 15, with Sept. 22 scheduled as a rain date.
The final business meeting of the season was Sept. 1, with voting scheduled to determine the officers serving as the Executive Board for 2027.
