VIENNA – The Wood County Democratic Executive Committee will hold a spaghetti dinner at 6 p.m. Friday at the Vienna Community Building, 1301 34th St.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner will be an opportunity for voters to meet Wood County Democratic candidates and learn about their platforms, party Chairman Jeff Fox said.
"We always want to hear thoughts from area residents about local issues, and this event will allow folks to speak with the Democratic nominees and enjoy a delicious meal!” Fox said.
On the menus is spaghetti with meat or marinara sauce, salad, roll, assorted desserts, iced tea and water.
A donation of $10 is recommended and tickets can be purchased online at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/2026spaghetti. Tickets also will be available at the door.
Children are admitted free with parents.
Proceeds will raise money to support other Wood County Democratic Party events to be held through election day.
"There will be some short speeches by our slate of candidates, but more importantly a lot of opportunity for the candidates to listen to the concerns of voters and discuss ideas for Wood County on a one on one basis with voters," Fox said.
