Bristol Florence, right, was recognized as a 2026 Knight of the Golden Horseshoe in June by the Wood County Historical and Preservation Society. Florence was a student at Edison Junior High School where she was a member of the History Bowl team and is involved in 4-H. She will attending Parkersburg South High School next year.
