A small sinkhole formed at the intersection of Sixth and Ann Street Monday. Parkersburg City Street Superintendent JD Karcher said street personnel were sent out to review the site and place street steel over the hole Monday afternoon. Vehicles are advised to be aware of the street steel and any street personnel that could be at the site. “We’ve made sure it’s safe for now and it’ll be okay until morning when we can evaluate it further,” Karcher said.
