BELPRE — Some American Cruise Lines riverboats will temporarily dock in Belpre instead of Marietta because of construction along the Marietta Levee.
The riverboats will dock at the Belpre Shriners Club while renovations continue at the Levee.
Belpre Mayor Susan Abdella shared her support for the incoming visitors while renovations continue at the levee front.
“We’re just excited that we can help Marietta with the levee under construction for those boats and vessels to have a place to dock,” Abdella said. “It’s great that those visitors to our region will get to stop here.”
According to a release from the Marietta-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the remaining American Cruise Lines riverboats will continue to dock in Marietta as scheduled, though docking locations are subject to change.
