BELPRE – The GFWC Belpre Woman’s Club has announced the lineup for the 2026 Music by the River Concert Series.

The free community concert series, celebrating its 28th summer, will begin Tuesdays at the club-built bandstand in Civitan Park on Blennerhassett Avenue. June and July performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. while August concerts will begin at 7 p.m. In the event of rain, concerts may be moved to Wednesday evening if the band is available.

The audience is encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Admission is free.

June 2: Insured Sound

June 9: “Patsy, Loretta, Conway & Johnny,” Country Best in Class”

June 16: Plan B

June 23: Back Porch Swing Band

June 30: Pickin on Country

July 7: St. Marys Community Band

July 14: The Last Hurrah

July 21: Ridgeline

July 28: Band of Brothers

Aug. 4: 3 M Acoustic

Aug. 11: “Elvis,” Hank Poole

Aug. 18: Track 9

Aug. 25: Belpre High School Band opening at 6:30 p.m. followed by Jerry Stanley and Junction 144 Bluegrass Band at 7 p.m.

The July 7 show will be a patriotic celebration with additional details to be announced later.

The club also will sponsor Insured Sound as the opening act for the Belpre Homecoming at 7 p.m. Aug. 6 following opening ceremonies.
