Highway projects slated in Wood County

PARKERSBURG – Two highway projects will begin this week in Wood County, according to the West Virginia Division of Highways.

Beginning Friday, minor delays are anticipated through the end of November on Interstate 77 in the northbound lane from the Camden Avenue exit to the Seventh Street exit between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a paving project.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane.

Wood County Route 21/2, Old River Road, will be closed through the end of June for a slip repair .66 miles north of West Virginia 14 and 1.54 miles south Route 14, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the work schedules.
