PARKERSBURG – The Classic Plastics Toy Expo is returning to the Parkersburg Art Center this weekend.

The local event celebrating pop culture collectibles was not held in 2025, though organizer Tony Workman, owner of the namesake Classic Plastics Toy Store in Marietta, said he hoped to bring it back.

That’s happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Art Center. More than 40 vendors will be on hand offering toys, games, books, comics, 3D-printed items, crafts and more. A cosplay contest is slated for 3 p.m. Saturday, with signup from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is $5, with kids 10 and younger getting in free.
