PARKERSBURG – Two culvert replacement projects, one in Wood County and one in Jackson County, are set to begin Tuesday, the West Virginia Division of Transportation announced.

In Wood County the project will close Wadesville Road (Wood County 46) from the intersection of Lee Creek Road (Wood County 17) at milepost 0.00 to the intersection of Lost Pavement Road (Wood County 38) at milepost 7.17.

Work will be done between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., through Friday, March 6.

In Jackson County, Century Road (Route 2/20) will be closed at milepost 2.6 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday. School buses will be accommodated.

Motorists are asked to plan accordingly.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the work schedule.
