AEP Ohio reported nearly 2,000 customers without power between Washington and Athens County around 1:30 p.m. About 700 were expected to have power restored by 2 p.m. Later in the day, more than 200 customers in the Cutler area were without power. Nearly 1,400 in Parkersburg were without electricity around 1:30, according to MonPower. That number had decreased to about 500 at 4:50 p.m. in January.
