Kiwanis Pancake Days

MARIETTA — The 70th annual Kiwanis Pancake Days will be held Feb. 6-7 at the Broughton Community Building, 619 State Route 821, Marietta.

The event, the largest fundraiser of the year for Kiwanis programs serving youth, will be held 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Feb. 6 and from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausages and beverages. Also available will be a basket silent auction, a country store raffle and a large item raffle.

Tickets are $10 per ticket in advance from a Kiwanian and at Peoples News on Putnam Street in Marietta or $12 at the door. Kids 5 and under are free.

Jeffers Named to Dean’s List

Reagan Jeffers of Coolville was named to the Champlain College at Burlington, Ver., Online Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 semester.

Students on the Dean’s List have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Jeffers is majoring in cybersecurity.
