Groups team to provide insurance guidance on Cover WV Day

VIENNA – Organizations from across West Virginia are cooperating today for the third annual Cover WV Day, a statewide initiative aimed at helping uninsured residents learn about affordable health coverage options and providing free enrollment assistance.

The West Virginia Primary Care Association, West Virginia Navigator Program, West Virginia Office of the Insurance Commissioner and a network of nonprofit organizations and Community Health Centers are partnering to provide more than 40 walk-in locations statewide from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Each site will be staffed with people offering free support with Medicaid, CHIP and Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment.

Mid-Ohio Valley locations for the event are:

* Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia Harrisville Campus, 135 S. Penn Ave., Harrisville.

* Ripley Family Care, 512 Church St., Ripley.

* Vienna Public Library, 2300 River Road, Vienna.

* Wirt County Family Care, 483 Court St., Elizabeth.
