John Rake, of Whipple, Ohio, recorded the third hole-in-one of his career. The shot occurred on hole No. 16 at the Golf Club of West Virginia. Rake used a 6 iron to ace the 145-yard par 3. The feat was witnessed by John Dolman, Vernon Cowan, Rod Drain and Tom Black.
