It’s so easy: Linda Ronstadt tribute concert coming Saturday to the Smoot

PARKERSBURG — The music of Linda Ronstadt will be featured Saturday night at a concert in the Smoot Theatre on Fifth Street in downtown Parkersburg.

“The Linda Ronstadt Experience,” performed by Tristan McIntosh, takes the stage at 7 p.m., the new starting time at the Smoot Theatre. Tickets are $45 and are available online at the Smoot Theatre website, https://www.smoottheatre.com/.

McIntosh was an “American Idol” star. With the Linda Ronstadt Experience Band, the show will include hits by Ronstadt, including “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “That’ll Be the Day” and “Blue Bayou,” among other songs by the performer. McIntosh will also perform songs by Jackson Brown, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, The Rolling Stones and Little Feat.

The band is composed of professional studio and touring musicians. Drummer and percussionist is Ethan Leff. On bass is Paul “Junior” Boyne, the band’s founder.

The new members of the band are Brad Goff on piano keys, guitars and vocals and Curtis Killian on guitar and vocals. Chris Tarrow plays guitars and mandolin and multi-instrumentalists Andy Santospago and Cody Nielson, who play pedal and lap steel guitars, acoustic guitar, harmonica, mandolin, banjo and vocal harmonies perform in alternating shows.

Parkersburgers will not want to miss the show, said Felice Jorgeson, artistic director at the Smoot Theatre.

The Linda Ronstadt Experience is the second concert in the theater’s 2025-26 series. Because the show times have been moved from 8 p.m. to 7 p.m., season ticket holders should arrive at 6 p.m. for the pre-show party and enter through the back way.

Other shows at the Smoot are the 249th Army Band at 7 p.m. Nov. 8. The show is free.

Ernie Haase and Signature Sound will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 21. Admission is $30 for artist circle tickets and $20 for general admission and are available by calling the office of Taj Rohr at 304 893-9599.

The annual Hometown Christmas is 7 p.m. Dec. 5 with tickets at $20. The show, more than three decades old, features the Smoot House Band and local performers and musicians.

“Portait of Aretha” starring Cece Teneal, a tribute to the legendary Aretha Franklin, is at 7 p.m. Jan. 19, 2026. Tickets are $45.

The American swing band Good Shot Judy is at 7 p.m. March 7, 2026. Tickets are $45.

The series culminates with a performance by Judy Collins at 7 p.m. April 2, 2026. Tickets are $45.
