PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Art Center is bringing back its Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser.

The event will be Sunday, Nov. 16, in the art center ballroom. Doors open at 2 p.m., and the games begin at 3 p.m.

The cost is $25 per ticket. Participants can play for the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes, including authentic designer handbags, stylish stuffed totes, and even cash. The event features 20 games in all; including four special rounds where winners will get to choose from five prize options.

The event offers plenty of chances to win. Alongside the main bingo games, guests can take part in a 50/50 raffle, compete for door prizes, and purchase Magic Numbers for additional opportunities to score big.

This year there are two special raffles: the “Ultimate First Pick” and the “Getaway Raffle.” The first gives one winner the chance to select their favorite designer purse before the games even start. The second will be drawn later in the games and offers a mini vacation package featuring a Vera Bradley Travel Tote, hotel stay at the Blennerhassett Hotel and Spa, and restaurant gift cards from Huffman’s Prime Steakhouse. Raffle tickets are just $5 each, but participants must be registered for bingo to enter. Tickets are available online or at the event.

Refreshments will be available for purchase, and extra bingo cards and dotters can be bought on-site for those looking to boost their odds. Please bring cash.

“The Board of Trustees is looking forward to hosting a fun afternoon of fast moving, prize-filled bingo,” said Kelley Cartwright, PAC Board member and chair of the bingo committee. “All money raised at PAC Bingo will help to support community activities and outreach programs.”
