BELPRE — A food drive to help Belpre area veterans by the Belpre Area Ministries Food Bank will be held from 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 18 in the parking lot of the Wash-Rite Unlimited Express at 1004 Washington Blvd. in the Kroger’s shopping center.

Among requested items are saltine crackers, ramen noodles, skillet meals, pancake mix, pancake syrup, canned tuna, mac and cheese, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned corn, canned green beans, cereal, rice packet, apple juice, Spaghetti O’s, pork and beans, chicken noodle soup. canned fruit, jelly, peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, shampoo, clothes, detergent, dish detergent, bar soap, toilet paper and toothpaste.

Cash or checks payable to Belpre Area Ministries also are accepted.
