RIPLEY — A national association will hold an event showcasing Hull pottery in October in Ripley.

The Hull Pottery Association will hold its 2025 fall regional show and sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Epworth United Methodist Church, 299 N. Church St., Ripley. The show is free and open to the public.

The A.E. Hull Pottery Co. was established in 1905 in Crooksville, Ohio, about 90 miles north of Ripley, specializing in utilitarian stoneware and semi-porcelain dinnerware. It later branched into art pottery including cookie jars, novelty vases and flower pots.

Dealers from around the country will have hundreds of pieces of Hull Pottery and other American-made pottery for sale.

The company, founded by Addis Emmett Hull, closed in 1986.
