MARIETTA – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County will hold its 2025 Backyard Bash on Sept. 13 at the Town House Restaurant, 230 Front St., Marietta.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with the game kickoff at 7 p.m. between Ohio State University and the Bobcats of Ohio University.

The bash follows a record-breaking summer program, organizers said.

“We’re looking forward to an evening of football, fun, refreshments, and cheering or booing with friends,” Gary “Moose” Murphy, president emeritus of the Boys and Girls Club, said. “It’s all in support of the young people who need us most.”

Tickets are $20 per person or $35 for two and are available at the club house or by emailing ops@bgcwcoh.org. Guests can enjoy food, drink specials, a 50/50 raffle, football squares and more while supporting the cause.

All proceeds from the Backyard Bash go into programs serving young people throughout Washington County.

“This community continues to step up for our members and we’re incredibly humbled by that ongoing support,” Lynn Reins, interim chief executive officer, said. “At a time when the need is growing and resources are limited, our neighbors ensure our youth know they are seen and supported. The Backyard Bash is a fun and meaningful way to make a difference.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
