The Mid-Ohio Valley Post-Polio Group recently celebrated its 31st anniversary of being sponsored by the Wood County Society. At the meeting Luke Zyla, a volunteer for the American Red Cross, spoke about the Red Cross program for installing free battery-operated, ionization smoke detectors in homes that either don’t have detectors or that have detectors older than 10 years.
