PARKERSBURG — Saturday’s 2025 Freedom 5K Fun Run, hosted by Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, and the Jan Dils Foundation, surpassed a record 483 participants, including virtual participants from 15 states and two countries.

The event raised $47,500, the highest amount the 5K has ever raised.

The proceeds from the event went towards We Have Your Six, Parkersburg division, Operation Transportation, Parkersburg, Charleston and Huntington divisions, and scholarships for three veteran recipients through the Jan Dils Foundation.

“My team is so honored to host this annual event to support our veterans. This is a small way to recognize their sacrifices and give back to the Veteran community. I would also like to thank the entire Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, team. They stepped up to the plate and wore multiple hats to plan and put on this event as volunteers. It’s an incredible day that makes us proud! I would also like to thank our wonderful sponsors — we couldn’t have done it without them,” said Jan Dils, founder of Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law.

This year’s event had five tiers of sponsors, and there were 28 sponsors in total. The five-star sponsors include WVU Medicine Camden Clark, Family Carpet, Hughes Properties, Insurance Branch, Locklear Media, and United Bank.
