Mile 1.5 is where runners and walkers will pass under the glass bridge of the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, a sponsor of the races. Participants will get to enjoy this nice sight before they meet some of the Camden Clark volunteers up close at the finish line, where they provide medical assistance for racers. “Camden Clark is proud to provide this service each year to support local residents taking strides toward a healthier life,” according to its website.
