Along the Race Course: Mile Marker Two
Runners make their way onto the bridge that leads to U.S. 50 during a past race.
Mile two ends when participants pass the marker in the middle of the bridge that connects U.S. 50 with Parkersburg. After crossing the bridge, runners and walkers will enjoy a brief downhill reprieve before making a climb back uphill to take the Marrtown Road exit. Once the participants come to the end of the exit ramp, they will make a sharp left hand turn onto Fort Boreman Drive before making a dogleg and turning down Fries Parkway. The News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two-Mile Race will be held Aug. 16. Register for the races at: https://www.newsandsentinelhalfmarathon.com/. Questions?
