PARKERSBURG -- Ohio teen Noah Strickler is displaying his photography this month at the WesBanco office in downtown Parkersburg.

Strickler has been under the mentorship of photographer Danny Carpenter. His favorite subjects include all forms of wildlife and outdoor scenery.

Strickler attends Indian Valley High School in Gnadenhutten where he plays trumpet in the band, is a member of the track and field team and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. He earned his Eagle Scout Rank at the age of 14 and serves as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 429 of Gnadenhutten.

Strickler has been playing the piano since first grade and plays piano and trumpet at his church, Deersville Faith and Fellowship. Along with his photography passion, keeping up with his studies, being a scoutmaster, involvement in his church, Strickler is employed at Deersville General Store and works in the summer for Beckley's Lawn Service.

His love of photography was developed through his mother, Amy. They would spend their time together photographing a variety of subjects.

"When I was about 7 years old, my mom and I would go after school to photograph eagles at a nest in Newcomerstown, Ohio, which was sadly destroyed by a storm," said Strickler.

Strickler is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing and kayaking with his dad, Tom.

Strickler and Carpenter travel together to photograph wildlife with Carpenter teaching him how to take the photographs that are in the exhibit at WesBanco.

"I am forever grateful for the eagle nest in Newcomerstown," Strickler said. "No one knows what the future holds, but with the help of the good Lord, I look forward to many more adventures."

Noah Strickler's Facebook page, Adventures Through The Lens, displays his photographs that have been on display at a local fair and library. He recently had three of his elk photographs selected to be in the Benezette, Pennsylvania, Elk Country Visitor Center 2026 raffle calendar.

The Noah Strickler photography exhibit may be viewed at WesBanco Bank during regular business hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
