Pastor’s Panel on Spirituality
PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Engagement Project will hold a pastors’ panel on spirituality and addiction at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd, the Pink Church, at 903 Church St.
The project recently completed a survey of Parkersburg residents to identify the No. 1 issue impacting the community and the result was substance abuse.
“There are many reasons why people get addicted, and many routes people take for recovery,” Lisa Doyle Parsons, a co-chair of the Engagement Project, said.
Participating are: Pastor Melody Smith, The Gathering; Pastor David Bounds, The Cross Church; Pastor Pasi Sikio, The LIfe Church; Pastor Mike Seebaugh, Gateway Apostolic Church; the Rev. Dr. Shauna Hyde, St. Paul’s and Christ United Methodist Church; and Pastor Janet Richards, Downtown Bethel.
The panel is open to the public. For more information, call 304-488-3810.
The initiative of the Parkersburg Engagement Project is to identify a community issue and engage residents.
