Utility work to affect traffic on Parkersburg’s Dudley Avenue Friday

PARKERSBURG -- A portion of Dudley Avenue will be closed Friday for work by the Parkersburg Utility Board.

The street will be closed to northbound traffic at 33rd Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured east on 33rd Street to Central Avenue, then north to 36th Street.

Southbound traffic flow from Emerson Avenue will be limited due to the closure at 33rd Street.

Alternate routes are strongly advised.
