Discovery World on Market plans activities for Read Across America Week

PARKERSBURG -- Discovery World on Market is kicking off Read Across America Week on Sunday for Dr. Suess Day.
Read Across America is an annual event in the United States that promotes reading and literacy, particularly for children and young adults.
The schedule of events planned for the week are as follows:
* Sunday: Dr. Seuss Day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with guest readers including Parkersburg Mayor Tom Joyce and Police Chief Matthew Board.
* Monday: It's a STEAM Up at South Parkersburg Library, 5-6 p.m.
* Tuesday: It's a STEAM Up at Emerson Library, 5-6 p.m.
* Wednesday: It's a STEAM Up at Vienna Public Library, 5-6 p.m.
* Thursday: Give a Moose a Muffin Day, noon to 3 p.m.
* Friday: Young Illustrators Class, 5-6 p.m.
* Saturday, March 8: Dragons Love Tacos Day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
