Mid-Ohio Valley Prep Basketball Leaders

Area teams wishing to participate in the Mid-Ohio Valley boys and girls prep statistical basketball leaders are asked to submit their full season to date cumulative stats, including averages, with team records by 3 p.m. each Monday to jbennett@newsandsentinel.com and jholland@newsandsentinel.com.

Youth Free Throw Championship

The Knights of Columbus Council 594 in Parkersburg will host a local competition for the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship to be held at noon on Jan. 18 at Parkersburg Catholic High School.

The competition is open to boys and girls ages 9-14 that attend school in Wood County. Winners progress through local, district and state/province level competitions.
