THANKSGIVING

* Church Service

BELPRE — The Belpre Ministerial Alliance Fellowship will host a community Thanksgiving church service at 7 p.m. Sunday.

All churches in the community will come together for this service, with pastors from each church participating as well as the Pioneer Church choir.

This year the event will be hosted at Pioneer Presbyterian Church, 873 Farson St., Belpre.

* Cookies and Candies Bake Sale

A bake sale of Christmas cookies and candies will be held from 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 7 at the Revelation Fellowship GMC, 2807 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg.

All confections will be sold by the pound and the proceeds will benefit the ministries of the church.

* Soup Bean and Cornbread Dinner

A soup bean and cornbread fundraising dinner will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Belpre Heights Church, 720 Clement Ave. Donations will be accepted.
