Honey Festival Junior Tennis Tournament
The Mid-Ohio Valley Tennis Association is hosting the Honey Festival Junior Tournament Aug. 24-25 at City Park Tennis Courts.
Registration is now open. Entries close Tuesday, Aug. 20. Cost is $25 per player. The event is open to all UTSA players.
There also will be a Honey Festival 10-and-under Tournament those same days. Cost is $10 per player and is open to all UTSA and non-UTSA players.

Marietta High School Athletic Hall of Fame
The Marietta High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Lafayette Hotel.
This year's class includes Tom Baker (1960), Jerry Brock (coach), Shawna Daugherty (1995), Scott Strahler (1998), Bill Ross Jr. (1979), and the late William Whetsell (1963). The inductees will also be recognized during the home varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 27.

Tickets for the event, which includes a buffet dinner, are $40 each. Table sponsorships, which include up to eight tickets, are also available for $300 each.
