VIENNA — The monthly meeting of the GFWC Parkersburg Woman’s Club was held June 4 at the Parkersburg Country Club.

President Kathy Roedersheimer opened the meeting by introducing state President Natalie Hinkle. Pamela Santer provided the meditation and led the pledge. Table floral arrangements were made by Janet Shinsky and were later given as gifts to members.

Louisa Westfall and Mary Bango presented a memorial service of remembrance for four members lost during the past club year: Barbie Jones, Lora Swarr, Elsie Coleman and Sally Davis.

Roedersheimer presented an annual report of services members have provided to the community during her two-year presidency. Members gave her a standing ovation for superior leadership.

Hinkle conducted the installation ceremony for the officers for the 2024-2026 term.

Women who are at least 18 who live in the Parkersburg area interested in becoming members can attend the annual dues tea from 2-4 p.m. July 21 at the clubhouse at 323 Ninth Ave, Parkersburg.
